GPF Balance Check- Government employees have to check their GPF balance every year after the end of July. Government employees are required to deposit a certain amount of basic salary in the GPF fund every month. It amounts to a minimum of 5% of basic pay and a maximum of 25%. You can keep a minimum of 5% and a maximum of 25% of your basic salary if you want.
The maximum rate of return on deposited GPF funds is 13%. Previously, we had to go to Upazila Accounts Office for GPF account viewing/GPF balance check. Now you can easily or quickly view your GPF balance from any part of the world with the smart mobile in your hand.

Rules for checking GPF balance
First, connect the mobile or laptop to the internet. Open the Google Chrome browser and type www.cafopfm.gov.bd in the search bar and press the enter button. Click here to go directly to the website.
On this page, click on Click Here under GPF Information. You will see the following page:
Enter the 17-digit NID card number or 10-digit SMART card number in the first cell.
Enter your Mobile Number in the box below. (The mobile number given in the payment fixation should be given.)
Click the Submit button.
An Employee Verification box will appear on the screen. Enter the OTP code sent to your mobile SMS in this box and click the submit button.
You will see the following page:
Select the year for which you want to view the accounts from the GPF ACCOUNTS SLIP option on this page.
Now click on the GO button.
On the next page, you will see all the GPF information, including your GPF balance check.
